Pacific Oyster (crassostrea giggas) Japanese native. Great for the B.B.Q, half shell, fried, or in stews. This oyster does it all !! This food is a good source of Vitamin C, Riboflavin, Niacin, and phosphorus, and an excellent source of protein, Vitamin B12, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese and Selenium.
Japanese/Weathervane Scallop (patinopecten caurinus x yessoensis) Since scallops are so versatile they're appropriate for recipes that include grilling, sauteing, broiling or poaching. This food is very low in Saturated Fat. It is also a good source of Manganese and Potassium, and an excellent source of protein, Vitamin B12, Phosphorus and Selenium. OurScallops are a "DRY" Scallop. (not treated with water to increase their size) These Scallops are suspended off the ocean floor and as a result do not contain the gritty sand that is often found in dredged scallops.
